The 14' River Monster is a very strong, carbon float rod designed for bigger fish and will find favour with traditional anglers who love to fish with stick floats, big wagglers and chubbers for chub and barbel on the rivers. The long length gives better control over floats and allows you to run a rig downstream with precision to make your hook bait behave as naturally as possible which can be the key to tricking wary fish. Hook a decent sized fish with this rod and it will perform superbly with an exceptional amount of power in the butt section leading through to a softer middle and tip which will protect lighter hook lengths and/or smaller hooks.
